Regional Co-Creation

We address local challenges to realize a better future,
with the goal of creating a sustainable society.

As a business aimed at solving regional issues and realizing an ideal future, Kamichiku engages in initiatives to revitalize communities by involving a wide range of stakeholders including governments, retailers, financial institutions, and media. By enabling local leaders to promote projects that leverage their region’s unique characteristics, we aim to create a sustainable society.

Revitalization of Okuchi Breeding Farm

In 2012, Kamichiku took over operations at the Okuchi Breeding Farm in Isa City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Through extensive renovations of barns and farm facilities, we expanded cattle production, created new employment opportunities, and contributed to the revitalization of the local livestock industry.

Roadside Station Revitalization Project

Kamichiku was commissioned to operate roadside stations in Isa City and Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Leveraging our expertise in retail operations, we revitalized these facilities into affordable, high-quality meat shops offering both Kamichiku products and locally sourced goods, complete with self-service barbecue areas.
By collaborating closely with local producers, farmers, and food processors, we actively support community revitalization and regional development.

Aso Ubuyama Project

In partnership with Ubuyama Village in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kamichiku is promoting community revitalization through the redevelopment of livestock facilities, effective utilization of forage grass, and the creation of multifunctional spaces such as restaurants.
This initiative has led to increased employment, attracted new workers, boosted local tax revenues, and has been nationally recognized as a successful model for regional revitalization.
